We are very excited to be taking part in this year’s Universal Cookery and Food Festival. It’s always a pleasure and privilege to demonstrate our award-winning products alongside other industry professionals. Here’s a little bit about us and why our coffees, single origin and blends, have been voted amongst some of the best in the country…
Chapter Coffee Roasters co-founder, Vinny, has been roasting coffee since the age of nine in the beautiful suburbs of Goiania, Brazil. This is where our story begins. Vinny grew up living and breathing coffee on his papa’s roastery, and spent most of his childhood picking up everything there is to know about coffee cultivation to every perfect detail. Coffee technology then was very different to what it is today, and Vinny has been very much part of this development – he mastered the art of the production of the most flavoursome coffee without the use of modern day roasting equipment.
Vinny then travelled to the UK and paired up with coffee matchmaker George Thornton to launch Chapter Coffee Roasters. The duo used their backgrounds in harmony to create products that worked perfectly with sweet treats, and merged their British and Brazilian heritage.
Vinny and George saw three of their coffees win Great Taste awards from the Guild of Fine Foods, with the Golding winning the highest accolade – 3 stars, and being labelled as one of the best in the country. It was a very proud moment and we want to share our product with the world…
Three years later, Chapter Coffee Roasters is a roastery and café in the heart of West Kensington, London, with a predominant focus on online sales to the public and to businesses.
