Sustainability for Chefs

May 17, 2019

Sustainability is a challenge for all chefs and becoming ‘sustainable’ doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a continuous effort , repeated day by day, that moves you towards a greener future. Talking about it is one thing but action is key, and with action comes change. Sustainability starts with caring about our impact on the environment, but it’s the small, everyday changes that allow us to actually make a difference.

As a supplier, we ensure that we source our materials responsibly with 100% traceability. The new FSC-certified Pure Packs are produced with raw materials from renewable sources. It also reduce our plastic use by 140 tonnes per year, cut our carbon footprint by a fifth and help the chefs we work with achieve greener supply chains.

We want chefs to be inspired by our great tasting products, but our environmentally friendly packaging also helps them become part of the sustainability movement, leading the way and inspiring others to become more conscious about sustainability.

Chefs can only order what’s available to them. It’s our hope that by offering more environmentally conscious packaging, we’re doing our bit to aid your efforts to reduce waste in your kitchen. After all, we’re all in this together.

It’s a small change, but one that helps to #ShowYouCareChef about sustainability.
